A genuine hidden gem — a 24-metre outdoor heated pool in Carrignavar, built by volunteers in 1963 and still community-run. Water comes from the Clashboy river, heated since 1996. Open July and August only, so it's a summer treat. Coffee dock, playground, tennis and basketball courts make it a proper afternoon out. You can book it for private pool parties. Ideal for families who want something different from the usual indoor centre — the community atmosphere is lovely.
