About This Event

15th edition of the Olympic-distance race in Colònia de Sant Jordi on 22 May 2027. 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run. Organised by Best Centre Sports, the same people as BEST Fest. Race day sits at the start of the open water festival week, so a lot of Irish athletes treat it as one trip.

Annual Olympic triathlon in Colònia de Sant Jordi, usually the Saturday BEST Fest begins.

What to Expect

Sea swim from the port, bike on the south coast, run in town. Expo and bike check at BEST Centre the day before. Paella at the finish is part of the furniture. This is an Olympic, not a 70.3. Fields are friendlier than Alcúdia.

Age-group triathletes who want an Olympic in May with a swim festival attached. First-timers who find 70.3 Alcúdia a jump. Open water swimmers at BEST Fest who fancy one bike-and-run day.

Enter at mallorcatriathlon.com. Separate from BEST Fest entry. Check the athlete guide for licence rules. Irish TI membership is not automatically required.

Getting There

Same town as BEST Fest. Palma airport, 45 minutes. Stay in Colònia de Sant Jordi. If you are also doing BEST Fest swims, book the whole week in one hotel.
